Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner wants 3-1 win over Brighton to be a Christmas present for fans.

Palace beat Brighton for the first time since February 2021, ending a run of six winless Premier League fixtures against them (D4 L2). Each of the Eagles’ last three top-flight wins against them have now come away from home.

“We looked dangerous throughout, we took our chances today and it was a great win for us and the fans.”

“They (Brighton) wanted to win and they showed it from the first second. It took us a little bit of time but we created more situations in their half and it gave the players more confidence.”

“The problem at the beginning of the second half was that we couldn’t put pressure on the ball. They have a lot of quality players and their substitutes are excellent.”

“We look up and it’s a big opportunity for us to close the gap with the team in front of us, but we’re not talking about the table, we’re talking about our performances. The good thing is that we can play better.”

“This is a very important game for us. This is a very important game for our fans and I told the players that this is the best Christmas present we can give them because they always support us.” Glasner said.

Meanwhile, Brighton are now Register ufabet without a victory in four matches. Their longest winless streak since Fabian Hurzeler took charge.
